About Michael Caruso

Michael began his real estate career in development and property management on the Florida coast. After moving to California, he worked at several coastal real estate firms and was quickly ranked as a top agent for sales and service. He then completed broker’s license testing in 1994 and immediately established his own independent real estate firm in Orange County for about 19 years, with hundreds of millions in personal closed sales. Recognized for his unique, customer-centric approach, Michael’s focus is and remains on coastal Orange County; however, by request, he has successfully represented buyers and sellers from Santa Monica and the Hollywood Hills through San Diego.

His unrelenting focus, easygoing nature, and penchant for overcoming each challenge that comes his way have always been the foundation of his success. Michael has truly earned his reputation as one of Orange County’s foremost brokers and has served the real estate industry as President of the Orange County Association of REALTORS®. He believes in continued professional development, having achieved accreditation as a Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist, Certified Residential Specialist, Certified Brokerage Manager, and Accredited Buyers Representative.

Michael has been married for 45 years and has traveled the globe extensively with his wife, Cristina, and family. When he’s not serving his clients or at the office, he enjoys time with their grandchildren, early morning tennis, golf, gym work, and kayaking in Dana Point or Newport Harbor. He also enjoys spending personal time and resources on local and distant building projects with Habitat for Humanity and GivebackHomes, and he is an ambassador for ocean cleanup with 4Ocean.

Michael’s primary goal is to provide guidance and a memorable luxury real estate service experience for customers alongside the creative talents of his son and business partner, Phillip Caruso.
