There are plenty of great ways to spend father’s day, but might we suggest getting outdoors and enjoying Newport on your relaxing day off. Go for a bike ride. If you do not own your own bike there are plenty of rental services along the beach. You could also enjoy the water with your family. Whether that is by simply going to the beach, renting a paddle board, kayak, or Duffy, there are plenty of ways to enjoy the bay.
Speaking of the bay, The Balboa Bay Club offers a father’s day car show from 11am to 2pm with rare cars, BBQ, and cocktails. It is free to attend and fun for the whole family.
You really can’t go wrong with any of the wonderful Newport-Mesa restaurants offering brunch but here are just a few we would like to point out. Billy’s at the Beach is offering brunch from 10am to 4pm and don’t forget to order “Billy’s World Famous Mai Tai.” You could also check out Farmhouse at Rodger’s Gardens for their seasonal brunch menu and open air dining. Great Maple in Fashion Island offers a great all day brunch. Finally to cap off the long day you can make a reservation at A Restaurant for an amazing dinner experience.
